Hennessy Cognac
Brandi has spoken recently. He comes from a well-defined area of France, around the Cognac region. Its incredible atmosphere is unique in the world. With limestone and rocky soil and sunny and temperate climate, this region is ideal for viticulture.
The Cognac region's traditional vineyards are divided into six production zones (Crus in French), each with different characteristics. To ensure the exceptional quality of its brandy, Hennessy uses only Eauxdevie out of the first four crus, which has excellent fertile soil and very warm clay layers.
The type of grape that covers most of the vineyard for sale of cognac is called Ugni Blanc, which produces a light brewing wine.
